Who we are
Brookweald Cricket Club, Weald Road, Brentwood, Essex CM14 5QG, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact us about anything on this page at brookwealdcricketclub@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry about hiring the clubhouse or joining the club, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and whatever you tell us about your event or your cricket. We use it only to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange your booking or membership. Our lawful basis is your request: you asked us to reply.
Who handles it for us
The site is hosted by Vercel. Enquiries are delivered to the club by email through Resend, and may also be passed to MVP Cricket, the system the club uses to manage fixtures and events. Photos and site content are stored with Supabase. None of these services may use your details for their own purposes, and we never sell or share them for marketing.
Analytics and advertising cookies
With your permission we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, and Google Ads to see whether our adverts lead to enquiries. These set cookies and collect information about your device and how you use the site, but not your name or contact details. Nothing is set until you choose “Accept”; if you choose “No thanks”, Google receives only anonymous, cookie-free signals. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking or membership are deleted within twelve months. Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for the club’s accounts.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email brookwealdcricketclub@gmail.com and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
