Clubhouse hire terms

A booking is provisional until the club confirms it in writing and any deposit is paid. Home cricket fixtures take priority, and we will tell you at the time of booking if a date clashes.

The balance is due 14 days before the event. A refundable damage deposit of £100 applies to evening and full-day hires. It is returned within 14 days if the room is left in good order.

Cancel more than 28 days before the event and we refund everything you have paid. Within 28 days, the booking deposit is kept. Within 7 days, the full hire fee is due. If the club has to cancel, we refund everything.

Hire times include your setting up and clearing away. Music must finish by 00:30 and the room must be clear by 01:00.

When the club bar is open, alcohol is supplied by the club bar only. Hirers must not sell alcohol in any form, including in a ticket price. The club's bar staff may refuse service in line with the licence. Dry hire must be agreed in advance.

• The hirer is responsible for their guests and must be present throughout.
• Guest numbers inside the clubhouse must not exceed 100. Larger events need a marquee, agreed in advance.
• Under-18s must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Evening parties for under-21s are not accepted.

Please keep noise down when leaving and do not block Weald Road or park entrances.

No confetti, glitter, candles or naked flames. Do not fix anything to walls or ceilings with tape, pins or adhesive putty.

Your own caterer is welcome. Please take away all food and leftovers at the end of the hire.

Not permitted inside the clubhouse.

Leave the room as you found it. The cost of repairs or extra cleaning will be taken from the damage deposit, and any amount above the deposit will be invoiced.

The club is not responsible for loss of or damage to hirers' or guests' property. Commercial hirers and anyone bringing in equipment or entertainers should hold their own public liability insurance.

The clubhouse has step-free access. Let us know about any access needs when you book.
