Clubhouse and function room hire in Brentwood
On Saturdays the Weald is a cricket ground. The rest of the week the clubhouse is a room with its own bar and a view of the square, and it is available to hire. We are on Weald Road, a few minutes from Brentwood town centre, with parking beside the ground.

What the room is used for
Birthdays, wakes, christenings, meetings, club functions, community events and matchday hospitality. It is a single open room with its own bar, looking out over the square, so everyone is in one space.

Clubhouse and function room

New flooring, heating, air conditioning and insulation went in during 2024, funded by a £32,000 UK Levelling Up grant, so the room works in December as well as July.

Disabled access was improved as part of the same 2024 refit, so the clubhouse and function room are reachable without steps.

Twelve acres of Weald Park either side of the pavilion, usable for marquees, photographs and outdoor events by arrangement.

- Bar staffed by the club at no extra charge for events of 40 or more guests. Smaller events £75 for bar staff.
- Dry hire (no club bar) adds £100.
- Refundable damage deposit of £100 on evening and full-day hires.
- Club members receive 20% off room hire.

The 2024 refit means the room is warm, bright and comfortable from October to March, and that is when it is easiest to book. Weekday meetings, Christmas parties, wakes and Sunday lunches all fit well outside the cricket season, with the full bar and parking right outside. Winter weekends book up first, so get in touch early.
