Division 7 match report Writtle 2 v Brookweald 2 12/08/2023
Writtle won the toss and elected to bat. They got off to a solid start with Pavit 63 and Liddle 53 both batting well. Brookweald kept it tight with Forrest taking 3-47 from 8 overs. Writtle posted a competitive total of 215-6 from their 45 overs.
In reply Brookweald kept the run rate under control with Wolfe 75 and Swettenham 45 before Poonawala 39n/o hit the winning runs in the 43rd over
