Brookweald II vs Chelmsford Spartans
After winning the toss Brookweald CC 2nd XI decided to bat first. Brookweald CC were all out for 209 runs in 45 overs, Gary Wolfe scored 75 runs and Adam Crane gave him good support with his quick fire 48 runs. Rajendra Gowd picked 4 wickets for 57 runs in his 9 allotted overs.
Chelmsford Spartans CC 1st XI started the chase with a good opening partnership. Davis scored 48 runs and got out in 10th over when the score was 79. A few quick wickets set back the chase but Ace Khan's rapid 54 runs put spartans back on track. At the end Spartans chased the target in 29.2 overs with 3 wickets remaining. Graham Forrest picked 3 wickets for 28 runs.
